Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) App

Overview
The RMA App is designed to streamline the Return Merchandise Authorization process for Kongsberg by enabling efficient tracking, validation, and management of defective/returned items. It integrates Microsoft Forms, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Power Apps to provide a seamless solution for customers, internal teams, and administrators.

Technology Stack:
- Microsoft Forms – Customer input collection (Name, Vessel, Serial No, Issue Reported)



- Power Automate – Process automation (Save in SharePoint, Notifications, QR code generation)


- SharePoint List – Centralized data storage for RMA records

- Power Apps – User interface (Dashboard, Gallery, Admin Controls)

Workflow:
- Step 1 – Form Submission: Customer fills out Microsoft Form with details such as Name, Vessel, Serial Number, Issue Reported.
- Step 2 – Automated Processing (Power Automate): Data stored in SharePoint, email notifications sent to internal team and customer, QR code generated.
- Step 3 – Data Management (Power Apps): Dashboard view, gallery view with search, filter, edit, create, and QR code scanning.
- Step 4 – Record Handling: Form modes: View (read-only) and Edit (modify or create new RMA).
- Step 5 – Administration: Admin Dashboard with role-based access control.
